Olde Time Christmas Asa Packer Mansion Tours
Saturday, December 2 - Sunday, December 10, 2023 | 11 AM - 2:30 PM. The Mansion was the home of philanthropist, railroad magnate, and founder of Lehigh University, Asa Packer. Built in 1861 by Philadelphia architect, Samuel Sloan, the home was constructed over a span of two years and cost a total of $14,000 dollars. Topped by a red-ribbed tin roof and a central cupola, or belvedere, the home was built over a cast iron frame and consists of 3 stories, 18 rooms and approximately 11,000 square feet of living space.

The Underground Experience
Saturday, December 2, 2023 | 12:30 & 3:30 PM. Enter the Underground Room through the brilliant crystal chandelier stairway. As you enter the room, 14 feet beneath the earth, you'll find 2 beautifully handcrafted tables. You've now entered a room that is jet black with gold trim. Look up and you'll see roots growing into the room, that is the chandelier. As you have a seat in the plush chairs, if you’re with your significant other, loved one or friend, please sit across from them, this will be part of the experience. Your experience will last approximately 90 minutes but will feel like 5.

John Nemeth Band
Thursday, December 7, 2023 | 7:30 PM. As a teenager in the early ‘90s growing up in the muddy potato fields of Idaho, Németh was drawn to the hard-edged hip hop sounds and rock bands of the day, until a friend, Tom Moore, introduced him to the Junior Wells and Buddy Guy classic “Hoodoo Man Blues.” Together they formed Fat John & the 3 Slims, which is still regarded as a legendary band in the Boise region. John played harp and sang in local bands, often opening the show for nationally touring blues acts and quickly caught the ear of established blues musicians.
